My cousin was spending the weekend at my home. It was my brother Jeff, my cousin (my second brother) and little greggy, thats me. I was in I think 7th grade at the time and new that I enjoyed films but never expected that later in my life I would actually be pursuing a career in filmaking. So, being the eternal influence that my cousin has on me relating to the arts, he convinced both my brother and myself to rent it from our local ma and pa video store; curently out of business due to Mr. Blockbuster and family. During an excursion of picking up our pizza, we took along my cousins BB gun to shoot peoples drive-way and patio lights out; me in back of my dads poo-brown station wagon, I myself, managed to damage a couple of bulbs myself. After this, but before we went out later, on foot, to shoot the neighbors lights out, we sat down to eat pizza and watch the Evil Dead 2. From that night on it left the most intense impression on me as far as the WHOLE filmmaking process goes. And that's how I became a fan.
