From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood
Money, is, as the title might suggest, the sequel to From Dusk Till Dawn.
Directed by Scott Spiegel, and executive produced by both Quentin Tarantino,
and Robert Rodriguez, this chapter in the series of movies (FDTD: The Hangman's
Daughter is the third -- a prequel) follows a group of bank robbers, after an
encounter with one of the denizens of the infamous Titty Twister bar. The movie
stars Robert Patrick of Terminator 2, and The Faculty, and features a special
appearance by Scott's long time friend, Bruce Campbell. The effects are done by
masters in their field, KNB Effects Group. This straight-to-video release has higher production values
than many of its kind, and like its predecessor, there's no shortage of action:
A small band of criminals plot to heist a bank just across the border. With a
plan and plenty of motivation to liberate the stacks of money awaiting them in
Mexico, nothing could stop them... well... maybe one thing. However, the
unscheduled stop at the infamous bar does nothing to slow down the leader of
this mission. Being drained of his blood, he's infused with a new
power... Something he'd love to share with the rest of the gang.
What follows is an unusual take on cops and robbers,
as this band of delinquent dead's plan goes asunder -- and local law
enforcement finds themselves face to face with seemingly unbeatable foes. With
wild camera work and creative special effects, this movie is something you can
sink your teeth into.
